Working within the FNZ Investment Operations Function you will be responsible for the processing and settlement of all financial transactions made by FNZ's clients.

The team is also tasked with processing corporate distributions and dividends, reconciling client positions and identifying and resolving fund issues.

The Reconciliations Senior is responsible for providing senior support in relation to the Cash Reconciliations team within the FNZ Operational Area.

Team Responsibilities


Reconciling client money bank account records ensuring they are accurate; identifying where any differences arise between records and owning the E-E process for timely resolution.

Specific Role Responsibilities

  • Senior; Be a process expert within the team, deal with complex issues and deliver resolution; provide support to Operations and the business as a whole based on technical knowledge of team and role
  • CHANGE; On point to deliver, test, implement any change into the team, document any procedural changes to support change
  • QA & MI; Support manager in reviewing work and production of MI to demonstrate effectiveness of controls within team
  • DOCUMENTATION; Review any project documentation to assess impact to team, Review procedures periodically to ensure completeness and accuracy to current process
  • BAU SUPPORT; Support the BAU function with deliverables as and when required, ensure knowledge of process is maintained by performing BAU tasks regularly
  • PROCESS IMPROVEMENT; Drive forward ideas from the team to improve the existing operating process
  • DEVELOPMENT; Keep up to date with market changes and developments that impact the team, have a sound overall awareness of the team's functions
  • TECHNICAL; Have technical understanding of platform functionality and operation, end to end view of the process and platform for team
What we are looking for

  • Significant investment operations experience
  • Good knowledge of UK markets
  • Industry recognised qualifications
  • IOC, Investment Certificate or CFA is desirable
  • Experience in using Excel for data analysis
  • The ability to work accurately and to deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
