Working within the FNZ as a Self-invested administration officer - SME, you will be office based 2-3 days per week and will be responsible for providing support on the delivery of the required level of service for all transactions relating to the administration of self-invested products for advisers and policyholders on behalf of FNZ clients, making improvements to strengthen the area, and escalating any concerns to the team senior or manager effectively.

We service thousands of customers and must ensure we maintain exceptional external and internal multi-client relationships.

The Administration officer is also responsible for:

Maintaining online training records, personal mailbox and teams calls as well as supporting the effective management of all work queues and pipeline demands to deliver FNZ client's service level agreements, both at individual team and wider department level.


Specific Role Responsibilities:

  • Illustrations
  • Annual valuations on structured products.
Identify opportunities for process and systems improvement which will enhance the customer experience and sponsor/champion change initiatives.

Comply with the Training and development standards and requirements as outlined in FNZ's T&D Framework, including CPD.


Experience required:

Primary requirements:

  • Ability to work in fast paced and everchanging environment.
  • Positive Team player.
  • Must be able to successfully multitask and prioritise workloads.
  • Proficient using Microsoft software (excel, word etc).
  • Excellent communication skills including an ability to communicate with IFAs, customers, and third party investment providers/suppliers and the ability to motivate team administrators to deliver excellent customer service

Secondary requirements:

  • Financial services background
  • Understanding of pensions & investments
  • Worked in operations teams previously
