Full time, 12 month fixed term contract

The RTPI has an opportunity for a student (July July 2025) studying an RTPI accredited undergraduate planning course at Cardiff University as their placement year.


We are looking for an individual who aspires to become a Chartered Planner and is interested in researching and promoting healthy, socially inclusive, economically and environmentally sustainable places in Wales.

You will be given the opportunity to network with planners from different sectors and learn about their work and gain a good understanding of the work of planners and planning.


You will be given supervision and support whilst with the RTPI to learn and develop before returning to continue your studies in planning.
