Project Engineer (Audio Visual and Lighting)

Location:
Woking, Surrey (Hybrid - 1 day office based)

The Client:

Our client are one of the leading audio, visual, lighting, and stage engineering company. Operating worldwide for over 30 years, they are committed to offering cost-effective technical solutions for their clients. Operating from their head office, they havebuilt an enviable global network of clients and partners.


The Role:


Primary Duties;

  • Assisting Project Managers in the Planning.
  • Organising and Managing of projects from initial concept to completion including.
  • Assisting in the preparation of tenders, and project documentation.
  • Coordinating project requirements with procurement and admin staff.
  • Providing AutoCAD drawings and technical schedules as required.
  • Providing prompt response to customers and consultants enquiries.
  • Attending pretender site surveys/meetings with project managers' as required.
  • Assist in onsite system commissioning/operator training.

Skills & Experience:


  • Have experience in REVIT/BIM
  • Have experience with the technical infrastructure and equipment of modern performance venues including lighting and AV systems
  • Basic proficiency in AutoCAD. Additional training shall be provided.
  • Have proficiency in the use of MS 365 including SharePoint.
  • Have good organisational / prioritising abilities to meet deadlines
  • Accept accuracy and attention to detail as a prerequisite of their role
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The project work is international so an ability to travel whilst legally residing in the UK is required.

Qualifications:


  • AVIXA CTS-D / CTS-I
  • Have manufacturer certified training in programming of industry specific solutions such as ETC Echo, ETC Paradigm, QSYS, Crestron, AMX etc
  • Basic IT/Network configuration knowledge
