UX / UI Designer - Bolton - £35,000 - Bolton - Tech

Following a recent management buy-out involving new private equity investment, there's never been a better time to join as they enter the next phase of their development.

The business uses technology to offer easy-to-use comparison websites that enable customers to quickly and easily select the best option for their needs from a broad range of suppliers.

They are by far the largest comparison website of their type in theUK, 5 times as big as its nearest comparison site competitor, so are well positioned to benefit from the underlying trends in the market

Do you have experience working within a design system framework, prototyping and iterative design, and open and collaborative culture within the department and the design community? The client are looking for a designer who can work with existing systemsand re-create them in a way that makes them more usable, intuitive, and engaging.

Responsibilities and Duties

Understand?ing user needs and designs services, products, and tools to meet them.
Creating and iterating prototypes to test and communicate ideas, helping the wider team learn about user needs.
Liaising with a multidisciplinary team in an agile environment to turn concepts into usercentred designs.
Understand?ing asis interaction design and identify improvement opportunities.
Ensuring that the design of services is consistent both internally and with the rest of the wider organisation, delivering best practices around usercentred design processes, user research and experience design.
