We are recruiting an SME Collections Executive on a twelve month fixed term contract to work in our Slough office on a full-time basis.
Your role will be to help support with our outsourced debt providers, focusing on our SME customers, ensuring that debt exposure is reduced and monthly KPI's are achieved.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure effective communication with outsourced debt provider regarding the management, monitoring and reporting of debt and performance in line with agreed SLA's and KPI's.
- Demonstrate good customer service skills while initiating outbound calls and receiving inbound calls from customers while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Management of vulnerable customers, SME first instalment and balloon default debt.
- Manage the default customer accounts ensuring the correct action is taken.
- Ensure Experian credit files are accurately recorded, and any client queries are completed within the SLA.
- Assist with query and complaints resolution.
Required Knowledge & Experience:
- Previous experience in a collections role (or similar).
- Experience of working with vulnerable customers.
- Calm and assured approach under pressure with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Experience of actively participating in a team environment, whilst demonstrating the capability to work independently.
- Strong use of Excel ability to develop dashboards & complex reports, with supporting relative graphs.
- Knowledge of basic SQL and/ or SAS would be beneficial.
