About Coram

We are Coram - the first children's charity, helping more than 1 million children, young people and families every year.

We support children and young people from infancy to independence, creating positive change that lasts a lifetime.

Established by Royal Charter in 1739 as The Foundling Hospital, today we are a group of specialist organisations, working in the UK and around the world.

Our mission is to develop, deliver and promote best practice in the support of children and young people.

Coram has built a position of insight and influence by working closely with other organisations and other sectors; universities and government; professionals and families.

We have ambitious plans for our future, to become the UK's leading centre dedicated to improving the life chances of children as the Institute for the Future of Children.

This role works directly with the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team in achievement of this vision and strategy.

It will lead research, impact and process evaluation, and monitoring, develop new partnerships, and ensure that the voice of children and young people informs all that we do.

It will drive research capacity, deliver internal and external evaluations, advance our sector credibility and contribute to funding, policy and communication campaigns.

The Impact and Evaluation function operates both as an agency with an income target as well as a corporate function with core budget to support charities in the group, those working in partnership with us.

Strong skills in relationship development will enable you to secure work that aligns with Coram's strategy and provides a solid financial base for the team.

Along with developed Management skills to organise and resource your team effectively, motivating members to do their best work and build a positive and collaborative culture.
