Link to Change are pleased to recruit for the role of Youth Intervention Practitioner.30-37 hours per week considered.
We are seeking someone who can work in a multi-agency and community setting, alongside professionals from social care, the police services and the voluntary sector.
We are committed to having young peoples' voice at the heart of our organisation, all employees support young peoples right to a voice and assist them to influence the sector.
A clean driving licence and use of a car with appropriate insurance is essential.
Person Specification
- Proven experience in the area of social care/youth work/education/heath or related sector.
- Experience of delivering group work and training.
- Experience of working with children and young adults (726 years).
- Ability to build and sustain relationships with young people, their families & professionals, in order to provide a trusting service.
- Having an understanding of the world in which young people live in, including recognising issues such as exploitation, online safety and wellbeing.
- Ability to prioritise, plan, monitor and evaluate work.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to record activity and actions computerised database
