- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Recognised Fire Risk Assessment qualification
- NVQ level 5 (or equivalent) Management of Occupational Health and Safety.
- Registered on the IFE/BAFE Fire risk register or similar.
- Proven track record of carrying out fire risk assessments.
- Comprehensive practical knowledge of the application of HS&F standards within the specialised housing sector.
- Good knowledge and understanding of relevant areas of compliance relating to Housing.
- A strong and proven ability to effectively communicate with and influence internal and external stakeholders, including residents.
- Application of health, safety and fire management within a Housing environment.
- Thorough knowledge of housing operations and the needs of older people.
- A good understanding of the application of fire safety management within a specialised housing setting.
- Accident/incident investigation.
- Good knowledge of MS Word & Excel.

As the Health, Safety & Fire Risk Asessor, you will provide a comprehensive health, safety and fire (HS&F) service to Anchor's housing locations within your region, occasional overnight stays will be required.
Working as part of a national team, your responsibilities will be to carry out and review fire risk assessments, H&S audits, and training to achieve excellent levels of compliance within Anchors retirement Housing portfolio.
You will also provide general HS&F advice and support by ensuring a safe environment for colleagues, customers, and visitors.What we need from you:
