Simon Acres Recruitment are working with a leading manufacturer of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom furniture, who are looking for a National Sales Manager.

Offering a basic salary of £70,000, plus bonus and company car.

Key responsibilities

  • Driving the sales of the company to achieve the target
  • Developing and delivering a clear vision and strategy for achieving the sales target, including developing your own strategy
  • Identifying challenges to achieve the sales goal and work with the sales team
  • Developing a sales team of 8 and guiding them to achieve their target
  • Setting targets for each area in line with the company sales target
  • Developing specific goals for each region
  • Planning and developing group sales meetings with a clear purpose that focuses on enabling the team to achieve the sales goal
  • Working with the sales team and senior management team to ensure the needs of specific customers are met
  • Having excellent knowledge of the sales performance of customers, quickly addressing any problematic trends
  • Growing business with new customers, including prospecting for and developing larger accounts
  • Identifying new opportunities

Required Skills:


  • Communicate with a large number of internal and external key stakeholders, across all levels, on a daily basis and be able to quickly build strong relationships
  • Act as an integral leader by coaching, supporting, challenging and influencing your team
  • A good understanding of endtoend business processes across supply and operations
  • Good understanding of sales order processing and customer service delivery
  • Strong analytical skills and highly computer literate
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to develop strong relationships
  • Selfmotivated, driven, organised and structured, focussed
