Description

On behalf of a primary school in the area, we are seeking a specialist Teaching Assistant, to work on a one-to-one basis with a SEN pupil in KS2.

The student has an EHCP in place and requires full-time, reliable support.

As a one-to-one Teaching Assistantfor this pupil, expect to be working with a play-based curriculum to include lots of sensory activities.


The incoming Teaching Assistant will need to:

  • be able to work independently (with support for planning and resources coming from the SENCO/Teacher)
- have an understanding of the early years' curriculum
- have experience of working with children with high special educational needs
- have an understanding of Autism and/or SEND
