Our specialist Support programmes offer skills development, business support and investment opportunities to businesses and freelancers working across the UK creative sector.


We are seeking a Programme Assistant who will operate within the well-established BFI funded Creative Enterprise Programme, along with supporting a new grant award programme called the Creative Catalyst Challenge Fund.

This is an opportunity for someone to get first-hand experience of working directly with creative sector companies. The work will involve coordination support for a grant award scheme and a business support programme.


You must demonstrate excellency in administration, be a confident communicator and be able to provide an exceptional service to our team of experts, stakeholders, and businesses.


LOCATION:
Hybrid working, fixed workspaces available in Central Bristol or Greater Manchester. MIN 2 days per week working from a Creative UK workspace


CONTRACT:
Full time for an initial 1 year fixed term


SALARY:
£22,000 per annum

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinating the contracting process and tracking progress

Monitoring the awards and reporting back to stakeholders

Coordination of the business support programmes within Creative Enterprise:

  • Providing administration and coordination support to Project and Programme Managers
  • Liaising with cohort companies about programme logistics, travel arrangements and workshop activities
  • Raising purchase orders to cover relevant programme expenditure and participant expenses.

Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills:


  • Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role
  • Competent skills in Microsoft Office36
  • Experience of working to tight deadline
  • Ability to help organise and run events
  • Some travel across the English regions may be required (desirable)
  • Knowledge and/ or passion for the creative sector (desirable)
  • Experience working with CRM systems (desirable)
  • Marketing experience e.g. copywriting, social posting (desirable)
