- Managing a caseload of contentious and non-contentious matters
- Supervising and providing guidance on employee relations matters, including handling internal disciplinary/grievance/capability processes, and reviewing policies, procedures, and contracts
- Handling equalities obligations, providing support on Employment Tribunals
- Guiding through TUPE processes and drafting commercial agreements
- Conducting training on a variety of employment issues when required
- Overseeing junior colleagues within the team
- Contributing to business development initiatives
- Dealing with both contentious and non-contentious matters
- Experience in advocacy is desirable but not mandatory
- Outstanding client management skills and a strong interest in business development
- Handling complex Employment Tribunal claims
- Advising on employee relations matters, including settlement negotiations
- Providing guidance on restructures, redundancy processes, and TUPE issues
- Reviewing and drafting policies, contracts, and offering policy advice

The Opportunity
As a crucial member of the national employment practice, your responsibilities will revolve around key sectors such as commercial services, financial services, higher education, and housing, encompassing both contentious and non-contentious cases.
Working alongside highly skilled litigators, you can expect to be engaged in groundbreaking employment litigation, spanning various courts and tribunals.
Operate in a flexible hybrid working model with colleagues from different offices, meeting both virtually and in-person, uniting as one team.

The Ideal Candidate:
If you are a Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 8 years PQE and a proven track record in offering diverse commercial employment advice, particularly within the team's core industries, you might be the perfect fit.
