A manufacturing company based in Leeds are looking for a forward-thinking employee who can fit in with the cooperative culture of the business.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller/Accounts Assistant to work with a long-standing and personable local business.

  • In control of the sales ledger and all things Credit.
  • Cash allocations.
  • Minimising delay on scheduled payments through a high level of communication skills.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders.
  • Reconciliation of customer statements to ledger position.
  • Monitor & mange debts on the sales ledger.
  • Adhoc duties to support the finance team.
  • Weekly cashflow forecasting.
  • Assisting with monthly Management Accounts preparation reporting and journal entry
  • Continual analysis and development of financial strategies as the business grows.
  • Assist with financial audits.
  • Customs VAT/Duty enquiries.
  • Assist with Year End Accounts.
  • Experience of working in a fastpaced Credit Control environment, with the ability to work across Accounts.
  • MS Office software proficiency (Pivot Tables, V Lookups).
  • Ability to manage personal workload as well as working well in a team.
  • Key communication skills across the finance team and the business on the whole.
  • Flexible and enthusiastic approach to work.

Salary:
£27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year

Experience:

- accounting: 1 year (preferred)

- credit control: 1 year (preferred)
