A lovely Primary school based in Islington, EC1 are seeking a SEND teaching assistant to join their Autism provision and work with a number of pupils with ASD.

This is an advantageous position working with a number of pupils within their Autism unit, who have learning difficulties and autism.

The school are looking for a SEND teaching assistant who has experience working with autism, speech and language difficulties and EAL.

This would also be a suitable role also for graduates looking to pursue a career in teaching. Experience of Makaton and PECS is highly desirable but not essential.

This is a full-time long-term role starting ASAP and will continue through to the end of the Academic year.

This large 3-form Primary school in the London borough of Haringey is easily accessible by public transport. This is an Ofsted-rated 'Good' School with 'Outstanding' features and has a reputation for being a great workplace.

PAY - £80 - £100 a day - depending on experience

About the role:

SEND Teaching Assistant for Early Years
Full time, (Mon-Fri)
Experience working with EYFS pupils
Experience with ASD
PECS or Makaton experience highly desirable but not essential
