STFC Digital Infrastructure is responsible for the delivery of enterprise scale Information and Communications Technology (ICT) services that underpin the STFC scientific program of activities and campuses.

Our drive is to help communicate the work of thescientific community at STFC.

This individual must value teamwork and enjoy contributing to the group. He/she must be a self-starter and self-motivated and able to maintain professionalism while under pressure. Understanding the customer's needs and the importance of customer serviceis essential. Someone who wishes to continue to develop their skill set in a proactive environment.

You can expect opportunities to develop technical skills through increasingly autonomousprojects whilst under the guidance and mentorship of senior team members.

You may also be eligible for a range of Degree Apprenticeship programs offered.


Requirements:


  • Excellent organisational skills
  • The ability to safely lift and transport equipment weighing up to 25KG
  • I.T skills with Microsoft office including PowerPoint
  • Experience of using a Mac Computer
  • Good awareness of Health and Safety


You will be a key part of a team who are supporting existing systems as well as designing & delivering upgraded/new systems to underpin business and scientific activities and benefit the entire organization, all within a supportive, collaborative culture,great location with a proven work/life balance ethic.
