About The Role

We are currently recruiting for full and part-time
FEMALE support works to work with a gentleman who is ventilated via a tracheostomy due to a neuro muscular condition and is living in his own home in the Hatfield area.

Support Worker Duties:

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit for a
NEW CARE TEAM.

You will work on a rota basis, including weekdays and weekends to cover day shifts/waking night shifts and sleeping night shifts.

You will be supporting this gentleman to maintain his independence and you must be flexible, reliable, trustworthy, and enthusiastic. You will be observant, sensitive, and considerate.

The shift times are as follows:

Day shift: 8.00am
8.00pm
Waking night shift: 8.00pm 8.00am
Sleeping night shift: 8.00pm 8.00am (8.00pm pm is waking)

An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check WILL be required

Rates of Pay:
Up to £17.50 per hour upon successful completion of competencies and training.

About You

You will be friendly, approachable, reliable, and trustworthy and you will work well as part of a team, but also able to use your own initiative.

Experience and ability to understand and deal with complex needs is desirable but not essential. Being registered on the DBS update service would be beneficial and a full driving licence would be preferred.
