Team Administrator - Environment

Falmer / Brighton

What you will be doing:

An opportunity has arisen for a Team Administrator to join the team at Galliford Try.


You will work on our Southern Water GTB Contract Frameworks within our Environment Business, who are experienced in successfully delivering schemes of varying sizes, predominately to the Water Industry, across both Treatment Waste and Water schemes.

Ideally, you will be based in or around the Falmer area.

At Galliford Try, we are committed to flexible and agile working and this role will be offered on a hybrid basis with home-working patterns to be agreed.


You will be an integral part of Project Delivery team, working to assist the site project teams on a daily basis with the coordination of administrative queries, resources, meetings, information, equipment, materials and plant.


You will be responsible for ensuring all administrative tasks are completed to the highest standards, working closely with our leadership team to organise and maintain the internal database, scanning and filing/uploading site documents to company system and organising the distribution of site documentation, liaising with Document Control to set up project system requirements.


You will form an essential link between the site and commercial team, responsible for liaising with commercial team to manage contract budgets and collating materials delivery tickets, ensuring correct allocation to schedule of cost codes.


You will play a primary role in ensuring that all office administrative functions are coordinated to achieve a high level of productivity for the project, with the goal of getting them completed on time and within budget.


About You:


Alongside your keen eye for detail, professionalism, and excellent communication skills, to be successful as a Site Administrator, you will be able to work independently and as part of a tea to maintain standard and create a positive and effective working environment.


Previous experience in an administrative role or experience of working within a site environment would be an advantage, but not essential.

Access to your own transport is required for this role due to the remote location of some of our sites, which are not accessible by public transport.
