Join Our Fast-Paced Finance Team at Lanes -I: Purchase Ledger

Are you ready to take the next step in your finance career? Lanes -I, one of the UK's fastest-growing telecoms infrastructure providers, is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance team as a Purchase Ledger.

With a projected turnover exceeding £130 million and a network of depots across London & the Southeast of England, we're on a mission to disrupt traditional methods and deliver safe, sustainable infrastructure projects.

About the role:

As a Purchase Ledger at Lanes -I, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Finance team.

We're looking for someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to thrive under pressure, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

This is a fantastic opportunity for self-starters and proactive problem solvers who understand the requirements of working in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

Raise purchase order (PO) numbers accurately and efficiently
Check purchase and sales invoices for accuracy and completeness
Maintain effective communication with suppliers
Reconcile incoming payments and resolve any discrepancies
Collate and process credit card receipts
Ensure efficient operations within the accounts department
Generate reports using Excel and the accounts systems
Provide assistance to the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required

What We're Looking For:

At Lanes Infrastructure, we believe that attitude and potential are more important than experience.

Previous experience in a finance/administrative role is desirable
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
Familiarity with purchase ledger processes and systems is advantageous
A proactive and problemsolving mindset
Knowledge of regulatory requirements in a financial environment is a plus
