About the role:

Our maintenance team play a vital role within the running of the hospices and retail outlets.

We take pride in the environment in which we operate, and it is the Maintenance Officers responsibility to ensure that all equipment and facilities are fully functioning.

Keeping the safety of patients, customers, and employees at the forefront of everything they do.


Principal duties and responsibilities:


  • You will be required to carry out various reactive and planned maintenance tasks across our sites in a professional manner.
  • A good level of technical experience and knowledge in a diverse environment for buildings and facilities maintenance, undertaking activities and support for building, maintenance, plumbing, and other areas of work.
  • A relevant trade qualification required within the industry is required.
  • To ensure planned maintenance tasks are completed to the stated schedules and keeping records of when works are completed.
  • Maintaining internal and external repairs are completed within the set time frames.

As this is a multi-sited role so a full driving licence is essential, and your own transport would be desirable.

On-call allowance:Weekly on-call rate of
£125.00 (1 week in 5 rota)


Oxygen maintenance:
£300 p.a. (once qualified)
