We have been instructed on an Accounts Semi Senior opportunity on behalf of our client, one of Liverpool's leading firms of Chartered Accountants.

This is opportunity would suit an AAT Qualified, ACA/ ACCA student or part-qualified individual working in practice looking for professional development, a supportive team environment, lots of flexibility and a good work/ life balance.

The successful individual will work with an interesting client base and be responsible for the preparation of year end statutory accounts, tax computations, VAT returns, review of bookkeeping and ideally have a good working knowledge of accountancy software (Sage, Xero, Quickbooks).

Our client is offering an excellent remuneration, full ACA/ ACCA study support (optional), flexible/ hybrid working, and an extensive benefits package.

Part time will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Corporation tax computations
Preparation of management accounts
Preparation of VAT returns & bookkeeping
Liaising with HMRC
Training clients on accountancy software
Dealing with client queries

Requirements:

AAT Qualified/ ACA or ACCA Student/ Part Qualified
QBE also considered
Minimum of 2 years practice experience (Ideally)
Good working knowledge of double entry bookkeeping
