Description

The Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis Administration role is responsible for managing and administering key elements of the firm's Practice Management System, including timesheets, WIP, overtime, and client & matter records.


In addition to the core deliverables, the role will support the Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis team in the production of ad-hoc analysis on a variety of financial and performance areas.

Duties and responsibilities

The Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis Administrator will be expected to perform the following tasks:

  • Responsible for timesheet and WIP administration and processing of adjustments in the Practice Management System.
  • Practice Management System super user, providing support across the firm for timesheets, WIP and overall use of the Practice Management System.
  • Responsible for creating, managing and administering user accounts in the Practice Management System.
  • Responsible for overtime administration and processing in the Practice Management System.
  • Play a key role in driving data accuracy & integrity and driving correct use of firm's systems and data hierarchies, for example client partners and matter types.
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate recording of client and matter data in the Practice Management System, with accurate categorisations.
  • Supervise and control the chasing of missing timesheets, ensuring that monthend close processes can occur in a timely manner.
  • Supervise and control the chasing of overtime forms, ensuring accurate submission in line with monthly payroll deadlines.

The team:


The Finance team consists of 19 people and is split into three main functions: Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis, Financial Operations and Financial Control.

This role would sit in the Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis Team.


You:


  • Will be able to use Excel to an intermediate level including formulae, data interrogation and pivot tables.
  • Financially literate and have experience of extracting and analysing data.
  • High levels of attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
  • Exceptional communication skills at all levels and able to adapt style to different stakeholder groups.
  • Energetic, highly motivated, and proactive.
  • Highly organised, able to forward plan and put together timetables to achieve key deliverables.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to be able to juggle multiple, competing priorities.
  • Possessing a continuous improvement mindset, always curious to consider different or better approaches to processes or problems.

  • Demonstrating a high level of credibility and ability to participate in working relationships with external parties including key suppliers of systems, auditors, and other advisors.

  • A 35hour working week with flexibility around the core hours of 10am4pm
