Our client a multi facted group of businesses with an extensive property portfolio currently has an exciting new career opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer.

There are currently around 12 employees in the Information Technology team and this role will require you to work alongside the CTO with a degree of autonomy.

The purpose of this role is to develop, maintain and provide technical support for the firm's IT Infrastructure and related solutions as well as leading technical work streams of projects to implement new or upgrade existing Infrastructure solutions.

• Lead the analysis, design, planning, implementation and optimization of above related projects.
• Provide general 3rd line infrastructure support in-line with a) the needs of the Firm and b) the remit of the team.
• Ability to work in a flexible way in respect of works required outside of normal working hours.
• Ability to cover out of hours (on-call) support on a rota basis.
• Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Server application configuration, including methods to configure, deploy, manage and maintain, e.g. GPO, AD, Patching, Server builds.
• Good knowledge of server management tools, and can demonstrate technical leadership and subject matter expertise in the following areas: Active Directory, CommVault, VMware, Microsoft Windows Server Technologies, Shavlik, Office 365, Certification using DigiCert., Flexibility to travel and work with global teams.
• Ability to work out of hours to lead or support system implementation initiatives or support system outages.
• Experience in end to end implementation of virtual infrastructure solutions (build, deployment, maintenance)
• Experience in applications preferable - EoL - Exchange - SharePoint, Power Shell but not essential.
• Significant prior experience in legal or other professional services environment.
• Exceptional 3rd line technical support skills for virtual servers including efficient and effective troubleshooting skills.
• Experience of aligning technology solutions with best practice and IT security policies and guidelines.
• Knowledge of SharePoint is also desirable.
