    We are expanding our staffing on our BA (hons) Illustration and BA (Hons) Animation degrees.

    The collaborative programmes are highly industry facing, developing students to gain the skills, knowledge and industry links to forge a career as an animator and illustration industries.

    Our students are provided the business and creative skills to pursue a career in screen industries, film, television, advertising, editorial, games, comics and publishing.

    We are seeking a dynamic Lecturer (Creative Practitioner) to join our dynamic team and support the development of the programme direction and growth.

    Skills will involve industry experience from a relevant illustration or animation sector i.e. 2D or 3D animator, character designer, illustrator, concept artists, graphic artists, game designer etc.

    Essential to this role are excellent administrative, planning, and organisational skills, as you will take responsibility and lead in areas such as module leadership, assessment of student progress and attendance.

    You will collaborate with colleagues on the implementation of assessment procedures, contributing towards the growth of the programme.

    We are looking for someone with relevant industry experience and contacts, as well as knowledge of contextual research and the current professional practice within the global illustration and animation industry.

    Higher education academic experience in Illustration or Animation would be desirable.
