Recruitment Officer


Reporting to:
Head of Sales and Marketing


Position Purpose:
We are currently recruiting additional Recruitment Officers support with Learner Recruitment/Engagement. to join the rapidly expanding Sales & Marketing team at B-Skill Ltd.


If you have a proven track record of recruiting learners to funded learning programmes then we'd love to hear from you.

We're looking for an individual who has a background in sales, marketing or recruitment. With a positive, bubbly and engaging personality, you will have exceptional communication skills.

You will be highly motivated, persistent, and tenacious and comfortable when it comes to 'cold-calling' and meeting recruitment targets.


Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to the following:

  • Advertise Apprenticeship vacancies using various methods and platforms (Job Boards, Recruit an Apprentice/Trainee, Website and Social Media)
  • Proactively shortlist, interview and match suitable prospective apprentices and trainees providing comprehensive Information, Advice and Guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment; compliant with funding agencies rules, employer and organisational guidelines
  • Achieving agreed recruitment targets to ensure we meet contractual requirement
  • You will make outbound calls to engage employers and individuals in specific sectors, identifying training needs, following up with supporting information and receiving expressions of interest.
  • Contact prospective customers, promoting our recruitment, training and development solutions through engaging and securing new business.
  • Actively use Social Media platforms (Linked In, Facebook, Twitter etc) to promote B-Skill services and recruitment opportunities.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales journey
  • To accurately update CRM system daily by completing all customer details and sales information to the required B-Skill standard.
  • Attend ongoing training and coaching sessions.
  • Take ownership of an agreed number of employer accounts for ongoing management of employer relationships and pipeline activity.
  • Attend employer/recruitment events where applicable to generate opportunities.

  • To undertake any other duties (training offered where applicable) in line with business needs.


The post holder may be required to undertake other such responsibilities as are reasonably commensurate with the status of this post.


Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills Required

Experience and Knowledge

  • Sales/Recruitment experience
  • Working with a training provider/educational provider and 'Recruiting learners for Apprenticeship and/or Traineeship' programmes would be beneficial
  • IAG Level 2 would be advantageous

  • Working experience and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams.

  • Must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom
  • Must be clean, smart and presentable always
  • Must have access to own vehicle
