We are looking for a Senior Technical Specialist to join us in either London or HoveYou'll be an Microsoft 365 Exchange specialist, and you'll be required to design, implement (upgrade) and support the messaging infrastructure. The initial focus will be leading the upgrade of all aspects of the messaging infrastructure and will evolve into an allround Microsoft infrastructure engineer role.

What you'll be doing

Acting as the primary SME for all aspects of the messaging infrastructure and being part of a team of SMEs responsible for the infrastructure as a whole
Investigating, analysing, reviewing and documenting business functions, operating models, systems and processes, identifying and making recommendations on the requirement for improvement including quantification of potential business benefits, and the creation of viable specifications and acceptance criteria in preparation for the construction of business change deliverables
Implementing best practice in an area of work to suit specific circumstances within the business and to improve the support service provided.
Contributing to capacity, availability, and updating the core infrastructure
Actively identifying risks, ensuring they are appropriately logged and tracked at the appropriate forums, and taking appropriate action to mitigate or resolve.
Continually working to build effective, positive working relationships with both our Third-Party Service providers and the wider IT communities, to enable us to deliver a fantastic customer service and be viewed as a single, valued IT partner

Azure Platform

Microsoft 36

Exchange online
Exchange on prem / hybrid
Exchange upgrade / migration
Perimeter security
Messaging security
Active Directory
Azure Active Directory
Ability to write architecture and process documentation
Ability to prioritise, organize and manage a complex and sometimes conflicting workload, and to work well under pressure.
Ability to anticipate business needs and to exceed expectations
Indepth understanding of Agile methodologies, technical understanding of products and their lifecycles, and uptodate knowledge on industry standards and best practices
