Role Purpose


Purpose of the role is to lead the IT Management and integration planning of the assigned area, ensuring IT infrastructure (Network, Servers, Telephony etc), Service Management, and platform support operate effectively.

Conduct necessary IT & Security assessments (in collaboration with the InfoSec team), gap analysis, and develop mitigation plans.

Create, coordinate, plan, and actively participate in the IT integration plans to merge and migrate the assigned area's IT capabilities into a sustainable long-term Chetwood supported model.

Ensure the projects run on sound project principles, managing, and monitoring the schedule, scope and quality.

Risks, actions, assumptions, issues, and decisions will be managed and controlled to ensure delivery of the projects to meet the defined business objectives.


As a critical member of the service management team; they will improve our visibility and governance of the assigned area, its vendors, and team.

Ensure critical services are running effectively with appropriate contractual controls to enforce where necessary.


IT Management & Integration

  • Identify and provide, where not fulfilled by 3rd parties and other teams, all 1st/2nd/3rd line support services.
  • In collaboration with all stakeholders, develop and drive systems integration roadmap.
  • Build & maintain partnerships within the business area assigned.
  • Support integration projects as needed throughout their development lifecycle.
  • Ensure all interfaces and technical dependencies are identified, documented, and maintained to a high standard.

Project Management

  • End to end project management from planning through to mobilisation and delivery.
  • Coordinating and managing teams that deliver the required outcomes.
  • Identify requirements of the stakeholders, scoping projects, producing detailed plans, providing management information, as defined by the key stakeholders, and reporting the status to senior stakeholders.
  • Monitor costs, timescales and resources used, and acts where these deviate from agreed tolerances.
  • Proactively & dynamically managing project plans, calling out dependencies, resources and other risks and suggesting mitigation.

Stakeholder Management

  • Ensure all stakeholders (internal and external) understand their role and responsibilities and ensure they are held accountable for delivery.
  • Influences program sponsors to make the appropriate decisions and modifications in response to external influences on the program.
  • Supplier / Partner engagement and management where required.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Degree/Advanced degree and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering in a range of complex IT Change, Regulatory and Business Change projects.
  • Experience of managing and motivating a team to support timely delivery to meet Business objectives.
  • Principal operations of a project management office including reporting and RAID management.
  • Agile delivery methods and practices would be desirable.
  • Experience of engaging / managing and executing delivery with existing or new partners / suppliers.
  • Handson technical experience of migration, transformation, and support of IT Services.
  • Experience with technical involved mergers and acquisitions.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience
