The Sustainability Advisor plays a crucial role in facilitating customer engagement across the GPA account.
This involves maintaining a roadmap of various initiatives throughout the year to ensure a consistent stream of fresh and compelling content for the customer.
As Sustainability Advisor, you will stay connected with sustainability champions and leads across the Government sector and the wider OP Sustainability team.
In support of demonstrated account performance, the advisor assists in data collection efforts, including metering of utilities and gathering broader social value data.
By actively participating in these activities, the Sustainability Advisor contributes to the overarching goal of promoting sustainability and driving positive environmental and social impacts within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate sustainability data and review quality
- Engage required stakeholders (i.e. suppliers, contractors) to obtain the data needed
- Support communication plans for wider customer account, and Government sector
- Delivery of sustainability data collection report, with basic analysis of performance
- Work with the Sustainability and Circularity leads on the GPA account to deliver reporting for the Hubs sector
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Experience working in sustainability in engagement of
- Experience of sustainability reporting data types and sources
- Knowledge of wider sustainability topics and ability to communicate them to wider stakeholders
- Ability to use technology to report and analyse data i.e. Excel, Trirega
- Enthusiasm, purposedriven individual, selfstarter with significant motivation
