Our client a well-established company in Watford is looking for an Account Executive.

Your primary role is to manage, maintain and promote the sale of their goods and partners whilst supporting the brands they represent in an aftersales capacity.

You willneed a clean driving licence; you will have use of a company car. You will spend 1 day in the office and 4 days out visiting customers.


Key Sales/Aftersales Responsibilities:

  • To manage and maintain relationships with existing customer, exploring new business opportunities with new and existing customers.
  • Grow turnover/profitability to customer base in individual territory
  • Maintain customer database
  • Prepare journey plans to manage time effectively
  • Attend monthly sales meetings
  • Respond to technical questions in the office
  • Address warranty claims and enquires
  • Maintain office, samples stock and returns
  • Assist in recovering debt when required.

Key Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company at national exhibitions and participate in buildup/break down
  • Promote the use and experience of their website
  • Assist with national advertising and marketing

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication, skills both written and verbal
  • Planning/ time management and strong scheduling skills
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Previous experience of administration and planning
  • Flexible outlook, as daily workload can be changeable
  • Good IT skills
  • Team player
  • Smart appearance and presentation
