Fixed-term Contract, 12 months

Part-time, 20 Hours Per Week
We are looking for an exceptionally talented and motivated research assistant in computational biology, as part of the EPSRC Early Career Fellowship '


GREET:
Generative Recombinant Enzyme Engineering for Therapeutics', led by Dr Giovanni Stracquadanio.


The project focuses on developing generative deep learning sequence models to design and manufacture enzymes for replacement therapies to treat Fabry disease.


The Opportunity:

  • Strong background in mathematics and computational sciences.
  • Good understanding of protein biology.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills.
  • Strong planning and management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
