- Preparing tenders for clients and commercial bids to helpbring in new business
- Developing andpresenting project proposals
- Meetingwith clients to find out their requirements
- Producing plans and estimating budgets andtimescales
- Discussing draftingreviewing and negotiating the terms of business contracts
- Agreeing budgets and timescales with theclients
- Managing constructionschedules and budgets
- Dealing withany unexpected costs
- Attending sitemeetings to monitor progress
- Actingas the main point of contact for clients site and projectmanagers
- Working with third partiesto ensure that everyone understands their roles andresponsibilities
- Making sureconstruction projects meet agreed technical standards
- Liaising with technical and financial staffsubcontractors legal teams and the clients ownrepresentatives
- Overseeing finalaccounts at the end of a project
- Working onsite and in anoffice
- Degree or HND qualified in Construction or ProjectManagement. Equivalent work experience will also beconsidered.
- Working knowledge ofNEC3 / NEC4 / FIDIC contracts desirable.
- An understanding of the construction industry
- An understanding of legaldocumentation
- Maths and IT knowledge
- Strong leadership skills
- Business management skills
- The ability to use your initiative
- Good verbal communicationskills.
