Due to an expanding workforce & implementation of our 7th Shift line to increase our operational resliance, we are recruiting for Operational Control Technicians to join our Tactical Operations team on a permanent basis

In this role you\'ll be a key support to the Tactical Operations shift teams, delivering a business-critical service to ensure that all operational call traffic and work requests are managed with appropriate priority.

What you\'ll be doing:

You will actively support the Operational Control Managers (OCM) in the routine management of Level 1 operational events. The role will ensure the provision of any required operational data and information to support the OCMs in effective decision making on both a day-to-day basis and during out of hours periods.

A key part of this role is to provide a \'welcoming interface\' between business and Tactical Operations at all times, and where required, take ownership in managing telephone traffic, raising defect work orders and tanker requests. All general, low risk operational activities will be handled by the Operational Control Technician.
