SEN Teaching Assistants are valuable members of the classroom team who can help children with their learning and vital social skills.

Working closely with the classroom teacher and other members of staff you will help children to develop skills and knowledge across the curriculum.

Here at Reed, we are looking to expand our pool of SEN Teaching Assistants available for day to day, long term and permanent roles.

Requirements of role:

  • You are willing to contribute to the provision of a safe, secure learning environment for children and young people.
  • You are patient with a desire to learn
  • You are willing to work collaboratively with us to help support our schools
  • You will be available a minimum of 3 days per week (between Monday to Friday)
  • You are available to work from 08:30 16:30
  • You have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or you are willing to obtain one through Reed
What we offer

  • Pay £70 to £85 day rate, dependant on qualification and experience relevant to the role.


  • Weekly pay

  • What you work Monday to Friday is paid the following Friday.
  • You will have your own dedicated Consultant who will listen to you and work collaboratively with you
  • You will have the opportunity to gain experience, or further develop your experience, working with children with Special Educational Needs.
  • You will gain on the job experience of working as a SEN Teaching Assistant prior experience is not required but a willingness to learn is
