What you will enjoy doing

  • Ensure all plant on site is regularly maintained through management of resources (people & plant) by use of Planned Maintenance on SAP
  • Provide defect maintenance service which will ensure that faulty plant and equipment will be rectified as quickly as possible
  • Maintain safe working practices, including strict control of Permit to Work system/contractor control thereby ensuring that internal maintenance team and 3rd party contractors carry out work in a safe manner
  • Control of costs to the maintenance budget and maximize productivity through supervision of the workforce
  • Engage and control of contractors for civil, mechanical, instrument and electrical work without scope of internal maintenance team
  • Maximizing productivity of the maintenance function

What makes you great

  • City & Guilds equivalent time served in Mechanical, electrical or instrument disciplines
  • Knowledge of standards covering plant maintenance and SHEQ
  • Knowledge of relevant maintenance systems and administration procedures
  • Experience of manmanagement. Good communication skills and able to prioritize workload
  • Knowledge of appropriate regulatory and legislative requirements to the role
  • Significant experience of plant maintenance and cylinder filing operations
