Client:


Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a large public sector organisation based in West Yorkshire who are looking to recruit a Year End Accountant.

The role will be for 6 months with a strong possibility of extension and will be paying £250 -£400 dependent on experience.


Duties:


  • Responsible for technical and control accounts
  • Develop cash flow reporting and variance analysis, coordinating information from Financial Management, Income and Capital Finance Teams to inform the cash flow forecasts
  • Provide VAT advice to other Finance Departments and responsible for the VAT returns
  • Responsibility for capital accounting, balance sheet management and charitable funds
  • Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations and month end reporting

Person:

  • Strong with systems including MS Excel
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with senior management
