    Bournville Manufacturing is the home of the UK's most iconic confectionary brand, Cadbury's.

    We are now looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with a Mechanical focus to join us, at the heart of our Manufacturing operations within different areas of the plant.

    The key role Manufacturing Engineer role is to work with the line operators and technicians by building their capability to eliminate losses, through the use of systematic approaches and equipment / process knowledge.

    Working with the Engineering Manager to determine the need for training and talent development, hiring and interviewing engineering employees and support.

    Take responsibility for implementation by leading and coaching the line teams.
    Give technical confirmation to any request or project proposal that affects the process or equipment.
    Process data gathering and issues analysis.
    Implement and maintain systems to collect, collate and analyse data on key process parameters.
    Identify and prioritise process capability issues for performance or cost.
    Develop and deliver training and skills improvements.
    Proven track record within Manufacturing within the Consumer Goods or Food industry or wider manufacturing industry
    The ability to work on multi projects.
    Hitting deadlines to ensure agreed turnaround times are met for completion of project documents.

    Excellent numeracy skills with a proven track record in providing project documentation such as hydraulic schematics, design calculations, test procedures etc.

    Educated to degree or equivalent level in an Engineering
