Job Description Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.**
Hybrid working is available.

  • Review of payroll processing and amendments, in addition to performing manual payroll calculations, in a timely and accurate manner
  • Review and checking of occupational, statutory payments & deductions
  • Resolve payroll queries using payroll system/reports, collaborating with Finance, HR and Treasury teams to rectify any issues.
  • Generate monthly payroll reports to support HR, Managers and Finance teams
  • Administration, processing, and upload of monthly pension contributions
  • Actively identifying opportunities to work more efficiently and to improve the service provision of the team, as well as contributing to the production of robust procedures.
  • Maintain existing/create new payroll manuals for changing in daytoday processes
  • Ensure procedures are compliant with legal and audit requirements
  • In addition, this role may be responsible for company expenses and ad hoc administrative duties relating to company benefit schemes such as employee benefits portal, life assurance, income protection and medical insurance policies, amongst others.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience within a similar payroll position
  • Experience of using a Payroll and Expenses system.
  • Experience of working with multiple group PAYE's would be beneficial
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Selfsufficient, organised, and methodical with the ability to work to tight monthly deadlines
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent knowledge of Auto-Enrolment processes
  • Confident with the ability to communicate and engage with all stakeholders, verbally and in writing
  • A desire to thrive in a role that requires a positive, proactive and flexible attitude towards change
  • Able to work in a secure and confidential environment
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach towards changing business needs
