Description
Working in the Advisory Service team, who provide strategic management consulting services to the healthcare industry. Working as a key part of the project delivery team.


Positions at this level are responsible for specific elements of project delivery within a larger team delivering projects for a variety of clients from start-ups to recognizable pharmaceutical/healthcare organizations.

G&L works with some of the biggest companies across a variety of industry sectors and this role will play a key role in supporting the delivery teams in achieving great outcomes.


The role incumbent is expected to be highly professional in all aspects of delivery, highly motivated to learn and deliver meaningful outcomes, with aptitude for critical thinking, and detailed research.

Expected to be client facing and comfortable engaging with a variety of stakeholders.


Should the opportunity arise, the job holder may be required to attend a client site and act as an ambassador for G&L.


Typical responsibilities:


Help project leadership define project scope and develop approach; coordinate project task execution by ensuring progress, organizing project data and coordinating team meetings; conduct issue analysis and develop hypotheses on the key client issues; design and execute qualitative and/or quantitative analyses to test and analyze hypotheses; synthesize findings, develop recommendations and communicate results to clients and internal teams.

Identify information sources, gather and interpret data, executing analysis, and presenting findings to project team and client stakeholders. Interview stakeholders—work that will become the basis of the project team's strategic recommendations. Compare current and future state business situations in order to identify the changes required for improvement.

Assess and document the drivers, costs, benefits and impacts of a proposed business change; Develop and deliver solutions to complex and/or business problems and providing important insights through data analysis, latest thinking, and industry experience and observed trends.


Within a Project Management Office (PMO), drive governance standards portfolio-wide, including tracking, monitoring and updating the status of project and program work; ensuring program-level dependencies are tracked and managed; supporting project planning, scope management, forecasting, budget/financial management, resource and change management activities across the program.


Create PMO packs (including actions, work stream updates, key achievements, upcoming activities, milestones, budgets, metrics, templates); draft new and improved existing project management office policies and processes.

  • Articulate, both orally and in writing, in English (fluency in other languages is a bonus)
  • Welldeveloped industry expertise in pharmaceuticals / regulatory affairs domain.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree (BSc/BA or above MA/MSc Degree) in a relevant discipline.
  • MBA qualification a plus.
  • 38 years of direct experience in management consultancy in an appropriate business specialization, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A proven track record of supporting delivery activities on large programs of work within
pharmaceuticals / regulatory domain expertise including knowledge of designing/operational of global regulatory affairs organizations.

  • A project management qualification a plus (e.g. Agile/CSM, Prince2, PMQ, APM, Six Sigma)
