Contract Summary

IMG Productions are looking for an enthusiastic Production Assistant to provide key production assistance and administrative support for the editorial and production management teams across Premier League Productions.

Key Responsibilities

To provide key production assistance and administrative support for the editorial and production management teams across Premier League Productions
Production administration: invoice and timesheet processing and costtracking
Working alongside the producer and editor to complete postproduction paperwork (scripts, stills lists, music cue sheets etc.) and uploading to postproduction archive system
Assistance in setting up multicamera shoots; including booking crew, voiceovers, camera kit, travel, accommodation, locations and creating call sheets. Occasionally you will be required to go onsite to ensure the smooth production of these shoots.
Arranging travel and accommodation for the on screen team (presenters, pundits, guests)
Being a point of contact for freelancers and suppliers
Booking and scheduling staff/freelancers; including loggers, editors, producers and post production facilities
Capturing data related to sustainable TV production (The Albert Certification process)
Assisting with autocue during live shows
You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job as directed by the Production Manager

Required Knowledge and Experience

Previous administration experience
Experience of managing bookings and scheduling personnel
Previous experience in a people facing role dealing with queries
Appreciation for tv production processes (including pre, production and postproduction)
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
Excellent organisation and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Excellent interpersonal skills (when to employ tact, diplomacy, discretion)
Uses own initiative and ability to work well as part of a team and on own without close supervision
Previous experience of working to tight deadlines, working effectively under pressure
Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
Production Health & Safety trained (desirable)
Interest in sport (desirable)

Working Conditions

This is a fixed term position (until June 2023)
Working hours are on average 40 hours per week
Free onsite parking
Working a few days over the Christmas period plus other Bank Holidays as required
Will require late start/finishes and weekend working where necessary
Travel to shoot locations as required
