A recognised aftermarket manufacturing company are seeking a Quality Inspector to join their friendly team based in Leicestershire. The company are one of Europe's leading suppliers of parts to the construction, recycling and agricultural markets.

With impressive facilities and a recent growth within the company this is an exciting time to join the company and in return you will receive a salary of £26,000 - £31,000 per annum.


Reporting to the Quality Manager, as the Quality inspector you will be responsible for the inspection of parts ensuring that all products meet the relevant requirements.

Along with the following responsibilities.


Responsibilities

  • Read and determine engineering drawings to dimensions
  • Use manual measurement equipment, as well as portable CMM probing & scanning equipment
  • Complete inspections of parts and products to the relevant customers' requirements
  • Maintain equipment and update calibrations and records
  • Assist with assembly of large components
  • Measurement of critical dimensions
  • Conduct spot checks on products, processes and specifications
To be successful in the role of Quality Insp ector you will have the following experience


Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role working in a manufacturing environment
  • Internal Auditing to ISO900
  • Proficient in the use of measuring equipment such as micrometres, Vernier's, slip gauges and clocks
  • Customer and Supplier quality experience
  • Experience of using CMM (Faro Arm or Romer Arm ) and Polyworks software is desirable
In return as the Quality Inspector you will be working Monday to Friday and receive the following salary and benefits
