What Are We Looking For


Our E&M team are looking for a Project Engineer with pressure vessel experience to join our business on a full time, permanent basis working out of either our Cumbernauld or Muir of Ord offices.

You'll be working with an established team to assist in ourcontinued successful deliver of projects across the region for our clients.

The function of the role is to run the maintenance programme on specifically on Pressure Vessels.

Some of your key duties include:

  • Project liaison from enquiry stage to final acceptance and documentation, meeting with Clients as required to discuss specific requirements and carry out site surveys as required.
  • Instructing, directing, controlling and allocating work to Trade Operatives & Apprentices, with attention to quality, productivity and safety.
  • Ensure all technical information is available when required for the delivery of design and/or construction.
  • Interpret and check drawings, specifications, and schedules for all activities, directing works accordingly & prepare final documentation (As Built Drawings etc.).
  • Early Identification and resolution of nonconformance within both the design and construction phase
  • Manage the design of systems and products, ensuring alignment with design specifications and technical aspects.
  • Completion of contract documents
  • Production of risk assessments and method statements
What do you need?

  • Experience within the water industry and an understanding of the processes would be advantageous as this will involve us impacting sites to provide value to our clients.
  • Experience of planning projects would be highly advantageous as we have a large order of assets to be inspected over the next 24 months.
  • Speaking with suppliers and subcontractors is key, e.g. SW operations, scaffolders, inspectors, trades, suppliers etc.
  • Experience with Pressure vessels and PSSR (Pressure Systems Safety Regulations) is nice but not required.

  • Salary on offer between £35,000 £45,000 depending on experience
