Position Overview
As a Laboratory Technician you will take responsibility for supporting scientists across R&D functions. We are offering this role on a full time, permanent basis.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Preparing large scales buffers and solutions
Preventative maintenance, cleaning & documentation of several laboratory instruments
Maintain and organise laboratory consumable inventories
Laboratory housekeeping, monitoring and keeping communal areas clean and tidy, waste management and specialist equipment user performance checks if required
Receipt and unpacking of temperaturesensitive parcel deliveries

Experience Required

GCSE Maths and English and an interest in Science
Full training will be given, previous experience in a laboratory or pharmaceutical/food manufacturing environment desirable but no essential.
Ability to understand and follow Health & Safety instructions.
Computer Literate
