HOST/HOSTESS
Mission:
Responsible for welcoming guests and customers to the consumption area and representing the area, complying with the highest standards of presentation, discipline, kindness and courtesy to cause the best initial impression regarding a quality service that satisfies the expectations of the customers, earning their recognition and preference.
Promotes the sale of food and beverages to increase revenue and achieve the defined objectives.What will you be doing?
- Follows the instructions of their immediate superior regarding duties assigned to them before and at the end of the shift.
- Participates in briefings at the beginning of each shift to get information on dishes of the day, VIPs, groups, events, and general comments and sharing information.
- Greets customers with a nice smile and cordial greeting and leads them to their table, walking elegantly and safely, pointing out any steps or uneven surfaces to avoid accidents.
- Registers the numbers of waiters, sectors and number of tables in each sector, the number of people and the total sales of each waiter.
- Responsible for taking reservations by phone, accurately noting customer data: name, time booked, number of diners, place where they are staying and telephone number.
- Is punctual and complies with policies and procedures regarding discipline, presentation, work schedules, transit areas and safety regulations defined by the hotel.
