**LEGAL COUNSEL - COMMERCIAL
CRAWLEY (HYBRID - 3 DAYS IN OFFICE, 2 FROM HOME)

PERMANENT ROLE
£43,000 - £55,000 + PACKAGE**
Role Overview:Morgan Philips Specialist Recruitment are currently representing an internationally operating geoscience services company in their search for a Commercial Lawyer to join fast growing legal team.

Key Accountabilities:

Reviewing, drafting & negotiating contracts, including (which may be highly complex)
General service agreements
License agreements
Memoranda of understanding / letters of intent
Confidentiality agreements
All forms of contract amendments
Dealing/assisting with disputes, including litigation / arbitration.
Reviewing and maintaining contract templates
Providing general legal advice to business units and to other corporate functions.
Travel, including overseas travel, as required.
To follow and promoting internal contract review process, procedures and practices
Writing contracts requirements in conformance with all applicable laws and in compliance policies & procedures.
To ensure that the contracts activities are performed in accordance with all procedures, local content requirements e.g. Compliance
Ensuring that confidentiality is maintained
Working cooperatively and jointly with other departments (Tax, Compliance & Finance) to provide legal reviews of high standard
If requested by the workload, review contracts for a variety of business lines and have a flexible, team approach.
To prepare and review the Contract Amendments and Change Orders.
Develop and assist Business line personal knowledge within reasonable confines.

About You:

UK Qualified Solicitor
2 years+ PQE Solicitor or Legal Executive, or equivalent experience desirable.
Contract interpretation and drafting experience
Contract negotiation skills
Analytical ability
Priority management & delivery

Compliance focus
