The is a peripatetic post to support the Therapies Leadership Team based across various East Lancashire Hospital Trust locations. This is a combined role working on site and remotely.


They must have excellent communication skills, a pleasant manner and be fully computer literate with a keen eye for detail.

They should have a desire to expand beyond their current experiences, with a willingness to adapt to the changing needs of the service, addressing new challenges when required.

They must be able to work under their own initiative, have good time managements skills, be flexible in your approach and demonstrate the ability to multi task.

A previous working knowledge of supporting senior management role and a willingness to travel is desirable.

Our office hours are between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Full-time, part-time/job share will be considered.


You will be responsible for supporting the Therapies Leadership Team providing an efficient and effective business support administration service in line with the Directorate's key operational and performance requirements i.e.

HR, Performance, Governance/Patient Safety and Finance.

  • Creating meeting agendas and related papers.
  • Updating meeting notes/action log whilst meeting taking place.
  • Collating information.
  • Arranging meetings.
  • Creating documents using Word, Powerpoint, Excel etc.
  • Responding to requests in timely manner.
  • Organise and plan own workload to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Work extensively using own initiative.
  • Produce accurate documentation.
  • Support with administration relating to recruitment and selection.
  • Maintaining confidentiality.
  • Maintain professionalism.
  • Polite and professional at all times.
