We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Transformation to join us in developing our plans for a new hospital for Airedale. On 25 May 2023, the Government announced that Airedale General Hospital will be rebuilt by 2030, in recognition of the current structural issues facing the existing hospital.
This is a once in a generation opportunity to be involved in a major hospital development and we are seeking an enthusiastic Head of Transformation to join our team and help to take our scheme forward.
Working as part of the Securing the Future programme team, the Head of Transformation will help to develop our programme clinical target operating model, clinical services strategy and model of care.
Main duties of the job The primary objective of the role is to manage and lead on the Clinical Service Transformation across Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. This will include designing and delivering clinical service transformation in collaboration with other Securing the Future workstream leads, in accordance with the Trust's and wider system and alliance strategies and with consideration to the wider health and social care system. The role will be cross-cutting and require an integrated and strategic approach.
The post-holder will be responsible for developing a clinical services strategy that drives organisational vision and direction of travel, including a clinical Target Operating Model and a new Model of Care.
Lead the development of a patient-centred clinical strategy, ensuring national standards and regulations.
