    University and College Union have an incredible opportunity for a Caseworker - Northern to join the team.
    Location: Gateshead, UK
    Salary: £22,060 per annum (£55,152 pro rata)
    Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time
    Hours: 14 hours per week

    Caseworker - Northern – The Role:
    We are looking for a part-time Caseworker to provide advice and support to UCU members in personal casework matters. This dynamic role is based in our Gateshead office and reports to the Regional Official, Northern Region.
    • Advising members on employment-related issues
    • Representing members at various hearings and mediations
    • Building and maintaining relationships with branch officers
    • Managing own caseload under supervision
    Caseworker - Northern – You:
    • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
    • Experience in a similar environment or with trade unions
    • Strong communication skills
    • Knowledge of employment and equality law
    • Advocacy and representation experience
    • Familiar with employment tribunals
