A look into the role

As Warehouse Shunter/Loader you will:


  • Load and secure goods at the depot
  • Shunt vehicles around the yard to designated areas
  • Lorry maintenance to include vehicle hygiene plus daily water/oil/fuel checks
  • Cage control and accountability
  • Manual handling, specifically pushing, pulling and lifting heavy loads

Skills for Success

Joining us as Group Operative the minimum criteria you'll need is:

  • Hold an LGV Group C License
  • Possess a Driver Qualification Card

It is Desirable if you had:

  • Driving experience
  • A good knowledge of vehicle refrigeration
  • A good knowledge of tail lift operation

Hours of Work
This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week. Working hours are likely to be Sunday to Thursday 6pm-2am (job to finish). As the warehouse is a 24-hour operation, flexibility will be required in terms of working hours.
