Description
Our client is an independent insurance provider based in Hebden Bridge and Huddersfield.
Their team has many years of professional experience in personal insurance. They take pride in offering first-class service at competitive prices and specialise infinding clients exceptional personal insurance deals.


We are now supporting their search for an Account Handler to join their growing team in their Hebden Bridge office.


This role will support the Personal Lines Insurance Team to manage their existing client base by actively processing renewal quotes, advising clients appropriately, ensuring clients? policies provide appropriate cover, and maximising any upsell opportunities.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage your own client base ensuring renewal quotes are processed in a timely manner
  • Adherence to the requirement laid out by the FCA in terms of compliance and customer risk
  • Working with 3rd party Insurers and Underwriters
  • Translate all data accurately and timely into CRM system.
  • To answer and respond to customer enquiries efficiently, effectively, and appropriately as per defined processes and procedures.
  • Be the first point of contact for customers who visit the office and on the telephone
  • Maintaining a healthy/current pipeline with frequent customer followups
  • Offering an excellent customer experience throughout the process
  • Provide good customer service and advice on products for customers identifying the opportunity for crossselling and upselling activities.
  • Increasing customer base by building longlasting customer relationships

Requirements:


  • Experience of working in an insurance business working in personal insurance (House, Car, Travel etc)
  • Confident in creating great conversations and relationships tailored to the customers' needs.
  • Ability to thrive in a teambased environment and achieve common goals.
  • Great problemsolving skills, and a strong ability to take initiative and be proactive.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, organise workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a constant desire to develop.
  • Capable of working autonomously as well as in a team.
  • Customer focussed ? the ability to understand the importance of customer acquisition and deliver customer satisfaction targets.
  • Creative approach to generating revenue.
  • Excellent communication skills ? knows how to demonstrate, promote, and sell.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues at all levels.
