A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Neonatal Matron to join our amazing team at ESNEFT.

This is an opportunity to join the senior nursing team in a new cross site role.


The role will allow for the development of the senior team and to support the Neonatal Teams continue to provide excellent standards of care across both of our sites at Colchester and Ipswich Hospitals.


The fundamental role of the Neonatal Matron will be to ensure that high quality, safe delivery of care continues to every baby every day.


You will work to three main objectives:

  • To provide professional leadership to the multidisciplinary team.
  • Providing a visible, accessible and authoritative presence in wards for patients and their families.
  • Ensuring regional and national standards within the neonatal units are aligned and best practise within ESNEFT.
